Hi friends,

I’m Daniel. I live in Dallas with my lovely bride, Andrea. We’re both creative types, and when we first met, we bonded over the fact that we have the same top three priorities in life—God, people, and art. In that order, too! We are both committed to walking with Jesus, connecting with people, and honing our crafts as creatives. As for this blog, there are two reasons I have captioned it “thoughts on faith, life, and art.” First, because it is just that—thoughts on the intersection of my faith, my day-to-day life, and my calling as a creative. Second, because writing helps me process and distill my thoughts. The more those three areas become integrated throughout my life, the more thoughts I have that need processing and distilling. The accountability of maintaining a blog is motivation enough for me to sit down and actually do the work. I hope you benefit from reading my thoughts as much as I do by writing them.
